Internet download speed

Having lots of trouble watching recorded tv from filmon, freezing, loosing sound etc.
We are getting 4.3mbps download speed [ paying for 4 mbps] Would a faster speed help??
Any imfo. would be appreciated. Thanks

You say recorded filmon...... Normally, if you are replaying a recording it has been downloaded to some device, hard drive, memory stick, and it is replayed from that. Any buffering should not affect the recording of the information as the device will wait for the download to continue. That is what I have found so far, but it may not hold true for all circumstances.
Again, in general, a higher download speed will reduce buffering.
Incidentally, because you are getting notified of 4.3 meg download, be aware the test is with a very small packet of data and not a long download. A bit like they test with a few words but you are interested in several pages, or even a book. The results can be very misleading.

Bazzra, Filmon recordings are done at their base and are not on your computer. You just watch them as you would streaming TV.
You can download them to your own computer if you wish.
