I have heard that if you put it into a container with some rice that should help remove any water that is left in the phone.

What about in a container with some salt. Salt in the bottom with a tissue covering it and the phone on top of the tissue.

Oh dear Maggie.

Gently use a hair drier, but at a distance, have to say though you will be very lucky to save your phone, I hope you backed up all your contacts and numbers, modern technology is great when you do not have accidents, I went swimming with my Samsung Toca, it did work but not in the same way, so I binned it .
