A really good drive (courtesy of Dave) out and along part of the Cyprus Wine Route No: 3 - some roads we haven't traversed before:
For our 2015 Cyprus National Day holiday (also referred to as EOKA Day), lunch was planned at Mandria village in Paphos.
Today, we started out in Erimi, Limassol district and headed upwards from the highway exit at Avdimou bypassing Pachna and driving through Prastio on the way.
We drove through Arsos village then meandered our way towards Mandria via: Arminou, Pretori, Mesana, Salamiou and Kelokedara villages.
Lunch was taken at the Klimataria Tavern on the square at Mandria village, Paphos - and very nice it was too. We will be back!
You can see the whole set of photos at any time by clicking through any of the images below....
The journey time isn't correct as the Google map took a few odd detours whilst I was trying to map our journey:

A quick photo stop for the village of Pachna from the Avdimou road:

Some of the villages we visited seen from the viewpoint of Ay. Konstantinos:

Remnants of the old road bridge just outside Arminou village:

Mesana village:

Salamiou village - "the Tavli table"

Last stop, Klimataria Tavern at Mandria (not this year's photo but same day last year). The vines are not so far along this year. A very nice lunch, loads of it, tasty and well cooked and so far, the best place we've eaten in Mandria village. We've tried the fish & chip place - not impressed and last year was Kentroikon which was fine but Klimataria was much better. We couldn't eat it all (except my hubby, he managed his) so the dogs got some pork souvlaki when we got home:
