Limassol on the up?

Postby 295Russ » 19 Nov 2016 08:55

Loads of new buildings been built in Limassol at present (all empty though!)

It seems that the money people think that it is right time to invest in Limassol. Shame it has not spread to the common people.

Work has already started on this project.

Also there are two other luxury apartment blocks been in Limassol on the seafront in the tourist area.

How should this be done? Communism failed dismally...and there are more billionaires and millionaires in China - still a communist state - than any other country.

Not just Limassol but the whole of Cyprus is experienceing a resurgence. Some great things going on too in the eastern side of the island; a big new marina in Agia Napa for one.

The point I was trying to make re the common people is that next to one of the new luxury apartment blocks is that the asking price I am told will be between 5000 to 6000 euros per sq meter whereas a reasonable apartment block next to it the asking price per sq meter is a maximum of €2000.

Of course the new build will be state of the art and luxury but I am sure it will be unaffordable for the majority.
