Do we have a Yamaha Organ Mechanic ??

Hello,

Just had a Yamaha EL40 delivered from the UK, and seems to have a problem. Scratchy sound and not firing up properly on switch-on. Sounds like a loose connection somewhere

Does anyone know of a company/individual who is knowledgeable about electronic organs ??

The only company in Cyprus that deals with Yamaha is in Limassol. The name escapes me at the moment but it is an offshoot of a Greek company.

Nakas music shop in Limassol is the Yamaha dealer. Tel. 25340301 situated on Agios Zonis.

The Music Gallery may be able to help, they have just moved location down by the Citizens advice. They did stock Yamaha, Roland and other well known makes. We bought a Roland Electric Piano there and other musical instruments for the daughter and sales and service were very good.

Thanks everyone. I've isolated the fault down to the Reverb Unit. It's a 'suspended' unit inside that organ case, and seems to have been disturbed in transit.

Tried the music shops in Nicosia, and Limassol, both of whom don't believe that Business is important enough to respond to an email.

I'll be having a tours of the Paphos places mentioned to see if I can get any joy.

Please don't assume that I am. If any more shops/ engineers occur to you- please cann them out.
